On February 29th, The SYNERGY Events along with Anthony Yepez Exclusive Events, presented ‘Diamonds in Black’ bringing together an exclusive crowd of fashion forward individuals and local celebrities to observe the latest trends in fashion.
The evening featured diamonds collection by Jacob and Co. and fashion by Andy Jacques Couture.
The cause:
To raise money for a scholarship fund for Shirley Roome who died at a car accident on Feb 6th, 2008. The scholarship fund granted the qualifying student with assistance in furthering their education at Hofstra University. Models participating at the event were close friends of the young victim who was deeply involved with the fashion scene.

Another big popping event in Boston included a live photo shoot competition between three fashion photographers John Flint, Jeffrey Engel and Joel Meus. The models on the cat walk paraded designs by Samuel Vartan.
Needless to say, Vartan’s showcase was bold and striking. John E flint was declared the winning photographer of the competition. And what a talent! Congrats to him.
The cause:
A portion of the proceeds of the event went to the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF), to help raise awareness and fight against breast cancer.

Lights, camera, action! A live model photo shoot demanded models to carry off their spontaneous persona on the cat walk. Exhibiting models, demonstrating real and raw talent, set the stage on fire! Guests mingled and danced the night away to a music selection of progressive and deep house by DJ Reaz and Guest DJ Modena Hunt Club.

SYNERGY created yet another whimsical evening at the upscale Vinalia lounge in Boston. Hidden behind white masks, guests made their mysterious arrival in chic black attires.
The highlights of the night included a live fashion show by Andy Jacques and a live solo performance by International pop star Heather Schmid.
The event concluded with an exclusive private party at Rise where guests received goodie bags with seductive treats. Attendees were in for a treat with a surprise visit from Heather and a received complementary copy of her latest album.
The cause:
A portion of the proceeds were donated to Drishtipat (www.drishtipat.org) - an organization committed to safeguarding every individual's basic democratic rights, including freedom of expression, and is opposed to any and all kinds of human rights abuses in Bangladesh.

The evening commenced with a very special photo exhibit by photo journalists Douglas Grindle and Ken Paprock. Their images offered an intimate view of the land where U.S. forces wage a daily war with Taliban insurgents.
The exhibition was followed by a live fashion show showcasing eclectic designs by Prizy Sebastian. Sebastian’s creations, a subtle mixture of east and west, closely mirrors her Indian heritage and Western upbringing. Model swathed in purely lavish designs cascaded the catwalk revealing classy collections made distinctive by subtle pin tuckings, sharp pleats, soft color contrasts and an exquisite mixing of splashy patterns.
Later, the group ‘Outabodies’ rocked the night with a smashing live hip-hop performance.

On March 02, 2007, Boston witnessed the launch of The SYNERGY Events, marking the hottest wave of events in the city’s night life scene!!!
A live fashion show showcasing a collection by RIA, displayed a fun and flirty collection inspired by the newest runway trends. Arriving in chic attires fashion elites invaded the joint and got the show off to a rocking start.
Following the show was a sizzling salsa performance that got the crowd grooving on their feet. As the night progressed, DJ Reaz, kicked off the party spinning a mix of hip-hop, world dub, deep and international house music.
March Birthdays:
Mandy McIntyre, Sarah Waskiewicz (Silk Vodka Models) along with DJ Reaz uncorked a bottle of champagne at midnight to celebrate their birthdays!!!
